Q. What does Burgess Pediatrics provide?
A. We provide well and sick child evaluations, preventative care and
coordination of specialty management, whether in our office, the
hospital or at your home. Should your child need to be hospitalized,
we will care for him or her in conjunction with the hospital staff and
other specialists. We maintain privileges at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital and Stanford University Hospital.

Q. Do you accept insurance?
A. In order to offer a streamlined, no red-tape office, we do not contract
with any managed care systems or third party insurance companies.
Instead, there is a monthly fee for each patient. There are no copayments
or other charges for any services, including routine
immunizations, we provide.

Q. What if I need to see a specialist?
A. We will refer patients to specialists and for laboratory and radiological
services as needed. Patients can use their traditional insurance for
these services according to the provisions of their plan.

Q. How do I reach my pediatrician?
A. During regular office hours, our staff is available to answer your
questions and schedule appointments via phone or email. After hours,
our answering service will promptly page us.

Q. What ages of patients do you accept?
A. We care for children from birth through college graduation.
