Dina brings over 15 years of experience as a pediatric nurse, including emergency medicine, burn unit, and intensive care at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland, Shriners Hospital for Children, and Kaiser Permanente. She relies on this experience in triage and telephone advice, as well as treating wounds and performing procedures. Dina is also a mother of two teenagers and an animal lover, caring for livestock at home on her ranch.

Eric brings more than 25 years of nursing experience, holds a Doctorate of Nursing Practice, and is an Army Veteran. He previously worked in leadership and education at Stanford Hospital, and has clinical and leadership expertise in neonatal, pediatric, and family-centered care. His strong focus on process improvement and leadership fosters a seamless, integrated experience for families. He loves spending time with his niece and enjoys cooking.

Maria brings over 25 years of experience as a pediatric nurse and holds a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner degree, including a year long primary care internship. Her background spans both inpatient and outpatient care, including rehabilitation, neurology, case management, gastroenterology, and liver transplant services at Children’s Hospital Oakland and UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital. She has also taught at the University of San Francisco. She is a mother of two and is involved in the Bay Area Greek Community.

Ria graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from University of California Riverside. She has tutored high school students in various subjects, has worked in biotechnology research and also in medical assisting prior to joining Burgess Pediatrics. She loves working closely with patients and their families and strives to provide a seamless experience. A Bay Area native, Ria enjoys travel and spending time with her family.
